AR Maintenance training on an A330 model
At the NLR I worked on implementing the KLM maintenance application for Hololens to iOS using an AR library. I created functionality to view and perform maintenance on different parts of an A330 on a small model. This combines
the physicality of a model and the scale & interactivity of a virtual environment. The goal of this application was to be a low cost version of the Hololens application so it could be used for educational Maintenance training.
At the NLR I've also given many demonstrations in of this version and the hololens version to various NLR partners.

I also worked on optimizing an immersive VR helicopter simulator called IMMRS that uses a depth camera to visualise your hands in a virtual cockpit. A physical panel with buttons is synchronized with the virtual word to allow interactivity. The optimisation was done for both high quality (Varjo VR-1) and low cost VR headsets (Oculus & HTC Vive).
